Check out the photos from the conference by visiting our photo gallery. If you have photos from the conference you're willing to share, become a member and add your own album. Or check out the ones we have posted. We are working on creating a short video that captures the essence of the conference and hope to have it up and available to view shortly.

Thanks again to everyone that participated and or attended. We hope you found the experience to be valuable and worthwhile. And that you will share the information you gained from the experience.

The goal of this conference was to bring together professionals in the snow safety fields of forecasting and educating  in an effort to network and gain cooperation and collaboration to ensure Alaskans receive the information they need to work, play and travel safely in the snow covered mountains of Akaska.

Please let us know if you have thoughts to share, ideas, suggestions or would like to help with the ISSW 2012 plans.

This is your chance to show the world how your organization supports the mission of snow safety and avalanche awareness. Whether you ski, board, mush or ride a snowmachine, snow matters.

How your organization studies, forecasts, mitigates and educates others about it also matters.

Enter the Alaska Snow Safety Conference poster presentation and you could win a new beacon, shovel and probe thanks to BCA.

We figured anyone who works in snow could use another set of gear, but if you would rather have something else, we have lots of other prizes from BCA and Patagonia you can chose instead if your poster is selected as the winner.

No posters larger than 3' X 3'

Share news and information about your history and your operations mitigation, forecasting, educating, public outreach, etc. practices.

Share photos and show the world about your impact on outdoor safety education, avalanche awareness and snowmobile safety.

Judging will be by vote of conference attendees.

Posters to be on display throughout the conference. Come vote for your favorite!
